Week 13:
Wyoming at Colorado State: The Cowboys and Rams kick off week 13 in the Mountain West with a showdown on Friday at 2:00 ET. Wyoming looks to top off the season with a victory that will move them to .500. Colorado State looks to end on a pleasant note in what has been a miserable season. Wyoming’s freshmen QB Austyn Carta-Samuels will have a big game leading his team to a road victory. Wyoming 44 Colorado State 27
New Mexico at TCU: The Lobos look to continue the momentum of their first victory. They will face a foe much tougher than Colorado State. In TCU they will see what could be the best team in the nation. The Horned Frogs are led by their destructive defense and QB Andy Dalton. TCU will end the regular season undefeated with fading hopes of a national championship appearance. TCU 59 New Mexico 10
Utah at BYU: A tremendous match-up between two long time rivals in what is referred to as The Holy War. Both teams come into the game at 9-2 with only one loss in the conference. Utah freshmen QB Jordan Wynn has played well in the four games his has appeared in. The Utes will need the young QB to manage the game and most importantly not turn the ball over. They will rely heavily on RB Eddie Wide who has 918 yards and 11 TDs on the season. The Cougars are a well balanced team led by the passing of stud QB Max Hall and the running game behind Harvey Unga. They have a tremendous threat in TE Dennis Pitta who will be a tough match-up for Utah’s secondary. In the end Hall’s experience and the home crowd will be the difference. BYU 37 Utah 30
SDSU at UNLV: The 4-7 Aztecs visit the 4-7 Rebels in a game where both teams are just ready to end the season. The Aztecs do have high hopes in sophomore QB Ryan Lindley who has thrown for 22 TDs on the season. UNLV’s season has been another disappointment so much so that it cost Head Coach Mike Sanford his job. UNLV QB Omar Clayton has been solid in his junior season. In a game with little on the line Clayton will make enough plays to lead the Rebels to the victory. UNLV 34 SDSU 30
