Week 2

Air Force- The Falcons lost a tight battle with the Golden Gophers in Minnesota 20-13. The Falcons held their own in a very tough environment. Next Up: Air Force travels to New Mexico to battle the Lobos in a conference tilt.

BYU- The Cougars traveled to Tulane and throttled them. BYU barely broke a sweat in the 54-3 victory. Next Up: The Cougars will host the Seminoles of Florida State.

Colorado State- The Rams edged Weber State 24-23 in Fort Collins. The narrow win combined with Colorado getting waxed by Toledo has soured the optimism for the Rams faithful. Next Up: The Rams will host the Nevada Wolf Pack.

New Mexico- The Lobos were lambasted by Tulsa 44-10. Next Up: The Lobos host Air Force in a conference battle.

San Diego State- The Aztecs played host to Southern Utah winning easily 35-19. Next Up: The Aztecs will host the Vandals of Idaho.

TCU- The Horned Frogs handled Virginia 30-14. Next Up: TCU will host Texas State.

UNLV- The Rebels battled the Beavers of Oregon State on the road. UNLV lost a heartbreaker 23-21 on a field goal with only 7 seconds remaining. Next Up: UNLV will host a dangerous Hawaii team.

Utah- The Utes battled San Jose State on the road. Utah struggled with the Spartans but managed to leave with a 24-14 victory. Next Up: Utah will travel to Eugene to battle the Oregon Ducks.

Wyoming- The Cowboys threw a first half scare into Texas trailing 13-10 at the half. In the 2 nd half the Longhorns threw everything at Wyoming, outscoring them 21-0 in the third quarter. The final score was 41-10 in favor of the Longhorns. Next Up: Wyoming will travel to Boulder to face the Colorado Buffaloes.
