TCU Horned Frogs vs Wyoming Cowboys Basketball Recap

The TCU Horned Frogs used a tremendous first half performance in route to defeating the Wyoming Cowboys at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in Fort Worth Texas on Wednesday night.  The Frogs never trailed and were paced by leading scorer Ronnie Moss's 27 point, 10 rebound performance.  TCU won its first Mountain West Conference game of the year after dropping its two previous match ups with San Diego State and UNLV.

Head coach Heath Schuyler wasn't able to score back-to-back MWC conference wins together.  The Cowboys shocked New Mexico at the buzzer in its opening conference salvo.  Wyoming was never in the ballgame on Wednesday, as TCU opened up 16 points halftime lead and never looked back.  The Cowboys were led by Francisco Cruz and Amath M'Baye, who scored 16 points and 13 points respectively.

The Frogs kept the pressure on for most of the ballgame, even extending their lead to as many as 26 in the second half.  Garlon Green poured in 16 points to aide the Frogs to victory.  The win ended a four-game TCU losing streak.  Head coach Jim Christian's squad, who had a surprisingly strong start to the season before the recent setbacks, will now travel to up-and-coming Colorado State on Saturday.
